It was a really busy week in school last week with all children working really hard in their new classes. All children worked really hard during their first full week in their new class and are now more familiar with their new routines. Children have all started their new topic and will be able to share with you the things that they have learnt.

Last week we welcomed new children to Nursery and Reception and these children are settling in well. Year 2 enjoyed an African drumming workshop last week and Year 1 enjoyed watching a performance of this on Wednesday. Year 3 enjoyed their Stone Age to Iron Age workshop on Thursday and were joined by a visitor to help them learn about that period of time. Year 4 also had a workshop last week in the form of a Woodwind Trio workshop delivered by music specialists. Year 5 enjoyed working with a PE teach from John Smeaton Academy who they will be working with throughout this half term.

Well Done to Class 4 who have had 100% attendance so far this academic year.

Just a reminder to look at each class page on the website for their weekly blog telling you about the things that they have been doing throughout the week.
