Schools' Tour of Yorkshire

On Thursday 13th June, 10 Year 6 children and their teacher Mrs Haylings took part in the West Yorkshire leg of the Schools Tour of Yorkshire.  The tour started in York  on Monday 10th June 2019 and will finish in Doncaster on 2nd July 2019.  The baton will travelled from Beechwood Primary, making its way through the city centre making use of the City Connect segregated route and the city’s Core Network. Riders from Beechwood passed the baton to  the children at Richmond Hill Primary School.  They were greeted by a fantastic Samba band and the Richmond Hill school orchestra.

We are so proud of the children and their huge achievement.  They all represented the school magnificently.
