The Seacroft Scroll

During the summer term children in kS2 (y3 -6) took part in a project with Matthew Bellwood supported by local community groups, LS14, Neighbourhood Network and the Library service. The children made models to represent the children of Beechwood and researched the history of Seacroft from past times to present day.

Representatives of each year group visited Leeds City Library on Friday to look at the full size Seacroft Scroll which has been on display over the summer. Some of the work the children did made it onto the final Scroll.

Children in KS2 were given copies of the scroll at the end of the Summer term.

The Scroll is now on tour around Leeds Libraries and may be visiting Seacroft in the near future
