Year 4 Class 10

Year 4 had an excellent day on Tuesday because a history expert came into school to teach us all about daily life in Ancient Greece. First, we looked at different reconstructed artefacts and we learned that the Ancient Greeks invented a clay water clock and a clay baby bottle. Catherine told us that they had bathhouses like the Romans and that each city state designed their own coins to trade with. We learned that archaeologists discovered Ancient Greek vases and we really enjoyed designing our own.

Week ending 18/09/26

We have already started working hard across the curriculum in Year 4. This week we have begun to think about our new topics and what we would like to learn this term. In History we will be learning about Ancient Greece and we are looking forward to seeing any home learning. In Science we have started finding out about electricity and we will be learning to make circuits next week.

Well done to everyone who got certificates this week. 🙂
