Year 6 Class 13

Year 6 took part in a Spanish workshop at Bishop Young.  We split into different groups and tried Spanish food, played bingo, learnt how to pronounce different sports and also how to count to twenty.  We had a great morning and everyone was really involved.  Thanks to Bishop Young staff and students for helping.

Week 2

This week class 13 have done their pre-launch to prepare them for our new topic ‘North and South America.’ We triggered our prior knowledge by completing sorting activities and labelling maps we had looked at previously. We can’t wait for our launch lesson!

Week 1

Class 13 have settled into year 6 brilliantly this week. They are blooming with confidence and ready to be an example to the rest of the school. We began the year with a PSHE day where we learned about the value of respect and completed sleep acrostic poems. During the sleep assembly, we learned how important it is for our brains to get the rest they need. We created posters about how to be a money hero too!
