Leeds Well Schools Event
On Monday 13th October Mrs Haylings ad Miss Taylor took some children to John Smeaton leisure centre to take part in a morning of sports hall athletic activities. Here the children were able to practise their throwing, running, balancing and stamina skills. It was a very enjoyable morning where everyone tried their best.
Some of our children took part in a workshop celebrating Black History Month with our LUFC Primary Stars coach. We had a very special visit from Ethan Ampadu and Willy Gnonto (2 LUFC players)!
At Beechwood, we follow the School Games ethos by encouraging children to participate in competitive sport and provide them with the opportunity to achieve their personal best..
Rugby champions!
On Wednesday 15th February Year 5 (Class 12) pupils from all our Trust school took part in a rugby tournament at Fives Leeds. All children played fantastically (teams A, B & C). Our A team won in their group. Well done to all children involved... we are very proud of you all!

10th July 2022 - Year 3 athletic competition
30 children from Year 3 participated in a Trust athletics competition at Soccer 5s. The children had a fantastic time competing and all tried their best in each of the 4 events they took part in.
