Nursery Nurse Vacancy

Temporary Nursery Nurse LEVEL 3  

Grade: B3 37 hrs (Term Time Only) 

Beechwood is a highly successful school with a dynamic staff team, a stimulating curriculum with an international perspective and pupils who are eager to learn. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Nursery Nurse with experience working with children, as an Early Years Educator / Nursery Practitioner or Nursery Nurse to join our talented staff team.  

Beechwood is a two-form entry Primary school & Nursery setting including a variety of outdoor provisions, where Nursery Nurses make a vital contribution to the wellbeing and progress of our pupils. We are looking for someone with experience of working with children within a primary & nursery school setting. 

• The role involves working as a keyworker, you will ensure every individual child’s needs are met, including supporting parents with any SEND needs.  

• Take ownership of the observation, assessments and planning for your key children in line with EYFS and provide developmentally challenging next steps. 

• Ensure we encourage and praise children’s development and achievements. 

• General classroom support work under the direction of the class teacher.  Appropriate support will be given to facilitate delivery of the role and have a sound knowledge of EYFS. 

• Good communication skills, team spirit and able to communicate with the parents 

Hours of work: 37 hours per week, 8am-4pm term time only.

This post is a temporary post for x1 year
