The children have been working very hard with their attendance. We are improving every single day. If all the children come to school each day they get 5 dojos. Everyone in the class got over 20 dojos last week! We had 100% attendance for four days. We hit 99.33% last week which is a new record! If the children come to school on time every day for three weeks they get an extra special golden time. Let's see who gets 100% for three weeks on Thursday.

They did some drama based on the book, Engine, Engine An Indian Counting Book. They changed the words and called the book...Engine, Engine, A Beechwood Counting Book!

In the afternoon we had a visit from a farm. The children and many parents met animals they had never seen close up before. Their favourite animal was Meg the dog.

Jacob did some amazing home learning. He shared photographs of himself, and he talked about how he had sequenced them. Then showed his holiday picture and talked about all the exciting things he did in Filey.

Well done, Jacob

We had a fun-packed day out at Eureka. The children explored the six unique zones, filled with hundreds of interactive exhibits which inspired their inquisitive minds.
They focussed on the senses and were able to enjoy a workshop all about the senses. This half term we will be doing lots of work to extend their understanding of the senses.

The children have worked hard this week. Well done
