Class 4

Week Ending 22/05/2026

This week we did drawings, paintings and collages of homes around the world. As part of the fundraiser day on Friday we played lots of games with the year 5's.

This week we launched our new topic Homes around the world. We made houses out of lego and materials outside. We also drew lots of pictures of different houses around the world.

Some children in class 4 have been learning about foods in India and created a poster on this! We have also been cooking some tasty samosas and pizzas.

Year 1 went to tropical world. We looked at lots of different kinds of animals. We really enjoyed this, and behaved very sensibly, really proud of them!

We had a visit from science boffins who showed us lots of exciting experiments.

Sophia is our dojo winner of the week, she has done fantastic listening on the carpet this week. 

Sarah is our star of the week, she has been putting lots of effort in. Well done!

Class 4 have been learning about fish in science. We took a trip to visit our own fish in school.

Class 4 have settled in really well this week. In English, we have been on a walk around the school and spotted lots of different labels and signs. We then made some labels of our own, in the classroom and in the community garden. In Maths, we have been focusing on our sorting skills and labelling the things we have sorted.
