Heritage Day.
Children across the school learnt greetings from a range of countries.
Some children brought in a range of food, photographs, flags or traditional clothes to show to their class.
Thank you to all who shared their heritage with our school community.
Reception
Year 1
Rebeka came to school in Romanian traditional dress. She brought in Romanian sweet bread called cozonac to share with her class. She also brought in a lovely Romanian poem book and read a poem in Romanian. She enjoyed teaching all of the children some Romanian words.

Year 3
The children enjoyed some delicious homemade Romanian bread and pastries. They were very tasty! Some children found out about their ancestors. Others shared stories from their home cultures, and it was fantastic to hear them all talk so proudly and confidently about where they were from. Well done Class 8!
