Library and Book Swap

We now have a mini library and book swap set up in the main entrance at school. Parents, carers and children can come to the office in school hours to borrow a book to read at home. It would be great if you brought along a book from home you have finished to swap for another child to enjoy.  

Beechwood Reading Challenge

We want our children, parents and staff to share their love of reading at home with us! Please send photos of your child reading or being read to and we will share them on the school website and Facebook page. We’d love to see the different books or e-books you have been enjoying at home. Please send your photos to learning@beechwoodprimaryschool.co.uk with the subject ‘Reading Challenge’. We’ll keep adding them to the website. 

Create your own book review

Have you read a great book while you've been at home? Have you really enjoyed sharing a particular story with your family? We'd love to hear about it so other children might enjoy the book as well. Complete a book review and send it to us via learning@beechwoodprimaryschool.co.uk with the subject 'Book Review'. 

We'll keep adding your reviews to the school website so other children might choose to read the books you have recommended. You could even video yourself doing your review and send it for us to watch.
