It has been a successful start to the Spring term. We have already had lots of visitors into school  to support children's learning and there are lots of educational visits planned for this term. The new Nursery children have settled in well and parents are encouraged to come into school for "Stay and Play" sessions. Please see the Nursery class page for more information about this. Reception are enjoying their new Fantasy World topic, the children have really enjoyed playing in the role play areas. Year 1 enjoyed their recent visit into the local area to find out more about the different types of houses. Year 2 have been doing lots of exciting work relating to their explorer topic. Children in Year 3 are working hard on their new topic "Our Community, Our Responsibility." The children have lots of projects planned for this half term and have various councillors coming into school over the next few weeks. In Year 4, children have started their Ghana topic, this is a great opportunity as we have a link school in Ghana that the children will be finding out about during the topic. Year 5 are looking forward to their residential to London in a few weeks time. Year 6 have been working incredibly hard improving their English skills and are currently writing their own stories inspired by ‘The Invention of Hugo Cabret.'

This week we will be launching our app, a letter will be sent home about this during the week.
