Last Wednesday was 'No Pen Day.' All children in school really enjoyed this and did lots of different activities in their classes, it was a great opportunity to continue to develop speaking and listening skills across school.

On Friday evening, some children from Year 4, 5 and 6 went to a rugby match at Headingley Stadium. The children really enjoyed this event and all of their cheering and support for the team led Yorkshire Carnegie to a win! Children particularly enjoyed being part of the parade on the pitch during half time.

Children have started learning about Black History Month and will be doing work in their classes to share with you in an assembly during the last week of term. A letter went out on Friday giving more information about this and a copy of this newsletter is also available on the website.

There are trips this week for Year 1, 3 and 4, see individual class pages for more information about these visits.
