Mayo Visit - Beechwood Bake-Off
Tue 18 Jun 2019The boys from Mayo College teamed up with some of our Year 6 Pupils to decorate cakes for the Beechwood Bake-Off. I'm sure you'll agree that the results are amazing. The winner will be announced in the assembly on Thursday, so watch this space.

Schools' Tour of Yorkshire
Sun 16 Jun 2019On Thursday 13th June, 10 Year 6 children and their teacher Mrs Haylings took part in the West Yorkshire leg of the Schools Tour of Yorkshire. The tour started in York on Monday 10th June 2019 and will finish in Doncaster on 2nd July 2019. The baton will travelled from Beechwood Primary, making its way through the city centre making use of the City Connect segregated route and the city’s Core Network. Riders from Beechwood passed the baton to the children at Richmond Hill Primary School. They were greeted by a fantastic Samba band and the Richmond Hill school orchestra.
We are so proud of the children and their huge achievement. They all represented the school magnificently.

Mayo visit
Mon 10 Jun 2019The annual visit by a group of boys from Mayo College in India began today. The boys introduced themselves at a special assembly and then came round the classes to answer questions. To finish the day Mrs Clarke, Mrs Dunderdale and others produced a fantastic meal.
