Last week at Beechwood Primary School ...
There was lots of excitement in school last week because of Bonfire Night. Lots of children went to bonfires and firework displays on Wednesday and some children were also going to some at the weekend aswell. In assembly on Tuesday children learnt about what we remember on the 5th November. Year 3 enjoyed their carousel of activities on Wednesday afternoon relating to Bonfire Night. Children in Year 3 made firework pictures, tasted parkin and dipped apples into chocolate and decorated them. Year 4 really enjoyed their Skulls and Bones workshop with staff from the Leeds Discovery Centre. Year 6 are very excited about their residential in France this week.
