Another busy week at Beechwood. Attendance was good last week, Class 6 had 100% attendance and won the trophy to have on display in their class for the week.

Lots of classes have already had visitors into school this year to enhance their thematic study units. Last week Year 4 enjoyed a visit from Matthew Bellwood to do some drama work with them. This week Year 3 have another visitor in school for a Roman workshop to link with their invaders and settlers topic.

A competition was launched in Year 4, 5 and 6 today to a rugby match at Headingley Stadium. If children would like to enter the competition they need to write a paragraph explaining why they would like to go. Winners will be announced in assembly on Friday.
