At Beechwood Primary School, attendance and punctuality remain a key priority, because being present and on time opens the door to learning, friendships, and endless opportunities.
Every Friday during assembly, we proudly celebrate the class with the best attendance and punctuality of the week, along with individual awards for pupils who truly stand out.
We are inspired by role models like Alia, who turns up every single day with dedication and enthusiasm, helping us work toward our whole-school attendance target. Just like Pedro, who arrives on time every day ready to learn, laugh and grow with his friends, we encourage every child to be punctual and take full advantage of every opportunity that school has to offer.
These weekly celebrations serve as a reminder of how important it is to show up, join in, and enjoy learning together.

At Beechwood Primary School, we are delighted to honour our newly appointed School Attendance Ambassadors, celebrated in assembly for their exceptional dedication to punctuality and presence throughout the 2024–2025 academic year.
These outstanding pupils have set a golden example—day after day, they’ve shown what it means to be committed, reliable, and ready to learn. Their consistency and enthusiasm have not only enriched their own educational journeys but have inspired those around them to value every moment in school.
They are more than just ambassadors—they are role models of resilience, responsibility, and pride. Their presence sends a powerful message: that showing up matters, and that each school day holds the promise of growth, connection, and discovery.

Autumn Term 1 Attendance Celebration
At the end of Autumn Term 1, our school assembly proudly recognised over 300 children for their outstanding attendance and punctuality.
Among them, 170 pupils achieved perfect attendance, more than 130 children maintaining their attendance over 95% and 25 students with the most improved attendance.
This reflects our strong commitment to attendance and punctuality at Beechwood Primary School. We are incredibly proud of everyone who helped us reach this milestone.
