Year 3

To celebrate Earth Day, Year 3 spent time in the school garden enjoying nature and getting creative. We worked with our friends to make art using natural materials like leaves, sticks, and flowers. It was a fun way to appreciate the beauty around us.

We also thought about how we can help protect our planet. Everyone made their own Earth Day pledge, writing down ways we can make a difference, such as saving energy or recycling more. We were excited to take our pledges home and share them with our families.

A special highlight of the day was learning a new song with Shine all about Climate Joy. We loved singing together and celebrating the positive things we can do for the Earth. It was a fantastic day filled with creativity, learning, and a real appreciation for nature.

Climate Curriculum – Summer Term – Home Learning

For Climate Day on Wednesday, we thought about what we could do to help the environment. We made leaflets to take home and share with our grown ups. We also made nature fortune tellers and went outside to see what we could see, smell, touch and hear in the environment.
